Echeveria ‘Raspberry Ice’ – Succulent Cutting
What you will receive
Choose from two options to suit the size and quantity you prefer:
- 1 Large Cutting – one generous cutting with an established root system, similar in size and quality to those shown in images 1 and 2.
- 2 Smaller Cuttings – two healthy smaller cuttings or offsets similar to those shown in image 3. Where possible, we will include at least one cutting with roots; the second may be a rooted or unrooted offset or stem cutting.

All cuttings are carefully selected and supplied with sufficient stem for easy planting. Unrooted cuttings and offsets are ready to plant on arrival and will readily develop new roots under suitable growing conditions.

About Echeveria ‘Raspberry Ice’
Echeveria ‘Raspberry Ice’ is an attractive hybrid succulent admired for its compact, rose-like rosettes and softly frosted foliage. Its thick, fleshy leaves carry a delicate coating of farina, giving the plant its characteristic powdery finish and enhancing its cool pastel colouring.
The foliage typically ranges from pale icy green to blue-green, developing raspberry-pink to soft red highlights around the margins and tips in brighter light and cooler conditions. Individual rosettes remain relatively compact, generally reaching around 8–12 cm in diameter before producing offsets and gradually forming attractive clusters.
Growing from Cuttings
Echeveria ‘Raspberry Ice’ grows readily from healthy stem cuttings and offsets. Plant the stem into a free-draining succulent potting mix at sufficient depth to hold the rosette securely. Rooted cuttings can be planted immediately, while unrooted offsets and stem cuttings will develop new roots from the stem under favourable conditions.
Keep newly planted cuttings in a bright, protected position while they establish, avoiding intense afternoon sun during this stage. Water carefully and allow the potting mix to dry between waterings, as excessive moisture around an establishing stem can encourage rot. Once well rooted, the young plants can gradually be introduced to stronger light.
Colour & Seasonal Changes
The colouring of Echeveria ‘Raspberry Ice’ changes naturally with light, temperature and the seasons. In milder conditions the foliage may remain predominantly icy green to blue-green, while brighter light and cooler temperatures can encourage stronger raspberry-pink and reddish tones along the leaf margins and tips. Its combination of compact growth, frosted foliage and changing pastel colour makes ‘Raspberry Ice’ a particularly rewarding Echeveria to grow from a cutting.

- All plants are sent bare rooted with no pots and soil, or minimum soil only.
- Due to the drying process necessary for sending plants through the mail, plants may look slightly different than images shown on our website
- Some plants, may look wrinkled when they arrive, may be somewhat limp, or soft to the touch. This is normal as they have been dried out for for a number of days before shipping to avoid rotting in the mail.
- Succulents are very hardy plants and they will recover quickly, providing you unpack them as soon as you receive them follow some simple care instructions you will find with your order.
