Rebutia 'Pink Sensation'
Rebutia 'Pink Sensation' is a captivating alpine cactus originating from the mountainous regions of Argentina and Bolivia. This delightful cactus forms compact clusters of cylindrical heads, each around 4-5 cm across and adorned with soft, golden-brown spines that embrace the plant without being overly sharp. In spring and summer, it bursts forth with a profusion of stunning pink flowers that open during the day, adding a vibrant splash of color to any garden or windowsill.
With its clumping growth habit, 'Pink Sensation' reaches up to 15 cm in height and spreads through offsets that form at the base, creating a lush, clustered appearance. These fleshy green mounds thrive best in full sun or bright shade, rewarding attentive gardeners with abundant blooms when given well-draining soil and consistent watering once the soil is dry. While it can tolerate mild frosts, it prefers frost-free winters, and too much intense UV light may cause sunburn on younger plants.
Propagation is straightforward due to its natural tendency to produce numerous offsets. For an easy start, gently detach the offsets from the parent plant and place them in well-draining soil. Although Rebutia can endure long droughts, regular watering during its active growing seasons promotes vigorous growth and abundant flowering. Whether nestled in a garden or perched on a windowsill, Rebutia 'Pink Sensation' is a resilient, eye-catching choice that brightens up any space with its vibrant blooms and distinctive form.

The plant you receive may therefore vary from the product images depending on the season, its stage of growth and current growing conditions. These natural variations are part of the character of living plants and do not affect their quality or health.
