Crassula 'Frosty' is a beautiful and easy-to-grow succulent that belongs to the Crassulaceae family. It is a dwarf cultivar that produces compact rosettes of triangular, bright green leaves frosted with white papillae. The leaves are thick and fleshy, and they can grow up to 1.5 cm long. The plant can reach up to 15 cm tall when it blooms in fall, displaying small white flowers arranged in a thyrse with several branches.

Although it is a nursery-produced cultivar, it is believed that Crassula 'Frosty' resulted from the cross between Crassula deceptor and Crassula tecta. It was introduced in Australia by Rudolf Schulz in 1993, and it has become a popular choice among succulent enthusiasts worldwide.

To grow Crassula 'Frosty,' you need to provide it with a well-draining substrate and a bright spot that receives full sunlight. The plant requires moderate watering in spring and summer and scarce watering in winter to avoid root rot. It is crucial to avoid wetting the leaves while watering. It is recommended to keep the plant indoors during winter to protect it from frost damages.

Propagation of Crassula 'Frosty' is easy and can be achieved through stem or leaf cuttings or by using seeds. This plant's ease of propagation, combined with its beauty and low maintenance requirements, makes it an excellent addition to any indoor or outdoor succulent collection.
