Echeveria ‘Lemon Rose’ Variegated – Succulent Cutting

What you will receive

You will receive one medium Echeveria ‘Lemon Rose’ Variegated cutting or two smaller cuttings of equivalent value, similar in overall size and quality to those shown in images 2–4. Our current cuttings have roots already developed, giving them an excellent head start when planted. Image 1 shows a selection of established plants and illustrates the natural variation in growth and variegation within this cultivar.

Each cutting is carefully selected from our current stock. Colour, size, form and variegation will vary naturally depending on the individual plant, season, growth stage and growing conditions.

About Echeveria ‘Lemon Rose’ Variegated

Echeveria ‘Lemon Rose’ Variegated is an attractive collectable hybrid, reported as a cross between Echeveria shaviana and Echeveria colorata. It is prized for its elegant rosettes and beautiful combination of soft green, cream to pale yellow variegation and seasonal pink colouring.

The fleshy leaves can develop increasingly prominent pink to rose tones around their margins under suitable light and cooler seasonal conditions. Combined with the lighter variegated areas, this creates a soft pastel appearance that can change considerably throughout the year.

Individual plants naturally vary in the amount and pattern of variegation they display, making each specimen slightly different. As the plant matures, it can produce offsets and gradually develop into an attractive multi-rosette specimen, adding further variation in colour and form.

Growing from Cuttings

Echeveria ‘Lemon Rose’ Variegated is particularly rewarding to grow from a rooted cutting. With roots already developed, the cutting has a useful head start and can begin establishing in its new growing medium more quickly than a freshly taken unrooted cutting.

Plant into a free-draining succulent mix and keep in a bright, protected position while it settles in. Water carefully during establishment, allowing the growing medium to dry between waterings. Once actively growing, provide plenty of bright light to encourage compact growth and attractive colouring, while protecting the paler variegated foliage from harsh afternoon summer sun.

If two smaller cuttings are supplied, they can be planted together to create a fuller display or grown separately as individual plants. As they establish and mature, the combination of changing variegation, seasonal pink tones and developing offsets makes ‘Lemon Rose’ Variegated an especially attractive succulent to grow from cuttings.
