About Graptoveria 'Bridgette'
Graptoveria 'Bridgette' is a compact hybrid with exceptionally thick, rounded to oval leaves covered in a powdery farina. Its foliage can range from pale blue-green and grey-green through soft pink, peach and muted mauve tones, with the balance and intensity of colour changing according to light, temperature, watering and the plant's stage of growth.
The natural farina contributes to the soft, matt appearance of the leaves and is easily marked by handling, so the foliage is best touched as little as possible.
Growing from Cuttings
These long-stemmed cuttings can be planted with most of the stem below the surface, up to just below the crown while keeping the lower leaves clear of the growing medium. Roots can develop from multiple points along the buried stem, helping the cutting establish a strong root system. The cuttings currently offered have already begun producing roots along the stem, giving them a useful head start when planted.
'Bridgette' prefers a lean, gritty, free-draining growing medium with relatively low nutrient levels, particularly nitrogen. It is best grown steadily rather than pushed with rich, highly fertilised media. Combined with good light, slower growth helps maintain the plant's compact, sturdy form, plump foliage and characteristic pastel colouring.
Keep newly planted cuttings in bright, protected light while they settle in, then gradually introduce stronger light as they establish and active growth resumes.

Succulents naturally change in colour, size and form throughout the year. Many develop richer colours and more compact growth during periods of seasonal stress, particularly through cooler months and brighter conditions, while warmer or lower-light conditions may produce greener, softer growth.
The plant you receive may therefore vary from the product images depending on the season, its stage of growth and current growing conditions. These natural variations are part of the character of living plants and do not affect their quality or health.
Pickup is available in Seville, Yarra Valley VIC by appointment. Order online as normal and any shipping charge will be automatically refunded after collection, unless you would prefer to receive an additional plant of similar value instead.
