Zygocactus 'Thor Caroline' displays medium-sized pinkish-purple buds that open into soft pink flowers with stunning deep pink to purple edges. The leaves also exhibit purple hues, particularly on new growth, making 'Thor Caroline' a stunning plant overall. Its vibrant blooms and colorful foliage create a visually captivating display.
A member of the Schlumbergera Truncata Dancer Series from Holland, 'Thor Caroline' is known for its resilience and prolific flowering. It thrives in partially shaded outdoor positions or sunny indoor spots. For optimal blooming and to prevent leggy growth, provide bright, filtered light with short days and long, cool nights, around 11-13 hours of darkness.
Overwatering can lead to rot, so allow the soil to dry on top before watering again. Use a well-drained cactus or succulent potting mix and apply a light water-soluble fertilizer in early spring and late summer to promote blooms. Originating from Brazil, this epiphytic cactus grows naturally on rock crevices and tree boughs, pollinated by hummingbirds.
Ideal for pots and hanging baskets, Zygocactus 'Thor Caroline' can be grown on patios, under trees, or indoors, adding a touch of vibrant beauty to any environment. Its easy care and stunning blooms make it a captivating addition to any succulent collection.

Succulents naturally change in colour, size and form throughout the year. Many develop richer colours and more compact growth during periods of seasonal stress, particularly through cooler months and brighter conditions, while warmer or lower-light conditions may produce greener, softer growth.
The plant you receive may therefore vary from the product images depending on the season, its stage of growth and current growing conditions. These natural variations are part of the character of living plants and do not affect their quality or health.
